Active Research

After my father passed away in 2026, I started to investigate the origins of my family. Although, allegedly, many documents were lost in the war, my father had still kept many, many documents about his past mainly starting around 1945. Also, he was a passionate photographer, so he had enough pictures to fill 50 large albums.

I use the app MacFamilyTree to maintain the tree and all related information. It was App of the year in 2022, and I can fully recommend it. It enables me to describe the past of my relatives in text, diagrams, and pictures.
